Big post-war houses with a lot of floor

Much of Bulleen was built in the decades after the war: solid brick family homes on wide blocks, many extended or rebuilt into double-storey houses over the years. How long should we stay off the carpet after a steam clean?

Steam-cleaned carpet dries in one to three hours. You can walk on it carefully in clean socks sooner, but keep shoes and pets off until it is dry, and wait before sliding heavy furniture back onto it.

Can you get out old pet stains in a family room?

What should we do to get the house ready?
