Ivanhoe East has a lot of 1950s to 1970s brick homes, and the carpet in them ranges from original wool to polypropylene laid in the last few years. We check the fibre and the underlay before we choose a method, because wool needs a cooler, lower-moisture clean than synthetic and dries differently. Renovated homes with new carpet get the warranty-friendly steam clean.

Carpet steam cleaning in Ivanhoe East

Our carpet steam cleaners in Ivanhoe East use hot water extraction, the deep clean most warranties call for. After a thorough vacuum and pre-spray, hot water is injected into the pile and vacuumed out along with the soil, so nothing is left behind to attract dirt. It is the right choice for stains, pet odour, allergies and vacate cleans, and carpets dry in one to three hours.

Carpet dry cleaning in Ivanhoe East

When carpet cannot be wet, or you need the room back within the hour, we dry clean instead: an absorbent compound lifts the soil, a rotary brush works it through the pile and it is vacuumed away. It is the gentler option for wool and natural fibres in Ivanhoe East homes and for light maintenance cleans between deep steam cleans.

How pricing works

Stains, pet odour and end of lease cleans

Most stains in Ivanhoe East homes are food, drink and pet accidents, and most come out on the day. Set-in stains and urine in the underlay are treated separately, and we tell you honestly if a bleach mark or burn cannot be removed. End-of-lease cleans include the stairs, built-in wardrobes and a receipt for the property manager.

Carpet care between cleans

Vacuum weekly, more often in the hallway and family room, and blot spills straight away with a white cloth rather than rubbing. Most Ivanhoe East homes need a professional clean every 12 to 18 months; with pets, young children or allergy sufferers, every 6 to 12 months keeps the carpet and the air noticeably cleaner. How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning in Ivanhoe East?

One to three hours after steam cleaning, depending on the carpet and the weather; we do extra dry passes and open the house up. Dry cleaning is ready to walk on in about an hour.

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Ivanhoe East?

Every job is quoted before we start, with stain treatment and deodorising included, and there is no travel charge inside metropolitan Melbourne. Tell us the rooms and your suburb and you get a fixed price on the phone before we come out.

Can you do same-day carpet cleaning in Ivanhoe East?

Most days, yes. Call before midday and we can usually fit Ivanhoe East in the same afternoon, six days a week.

Is the cleaning safe for children and pets?

Yes. We use low-residue, non-toxic solutions and rinse the carpet during extraction, so nothing sticky is left in the pile. Children and pets can be back on the carpet as soon as it is dry.

Can you clean wool carpet?

Yes. Wool is cleaned on a cooler, lower-moisture setting with a wool-safe solution so it does not shrink or brown, and we tell you which method we recommend after looking at it.
